Our Kala cotton throw is made of Kala cotton, which is organic cotton (Desi cotton) from India. The yarn is handspun by village women in Bhuj, Gujarat, and then hand-dyed using organic colors in an environment-friendly process that promotes a more sustainable way of life. The yarn is then woven on a handloom by weavers. It is an eco-friendly choice for conscious customers.

We recommend hand washing all of our organic cotton products. They can also be dry cleaned. If machine washed, we recommend using the gentle or delicate cycle with like colors, cold water, and a natural, plant-based laundry detergent. We do not recommend using whiteners as bleaching agents may diminish the brilliance and depth of the colors. Flat dry in the shade and remove promptly. Use a warm iron as needed.
